On August 24 the world will celebrate the invincible Ukrainian spirit.
This day in 2024 marks 33 years since Ukraine proclaimed its independence. As the nation continues to fight for its freedom, Ukrainians, and friends of Ukraine throughout the world will unite in a powerful display of cultural unity and solidarity.
We will tell the story of a people with hope, aspirations, and fierce commitment to a future in which the fundamental rights and freedoms, and inherent dignity of every Ukrainian are universally respected and protected. We will share a culture, the beauty of which lies in its diversity and power to unite.
We thank Canadians who continue to stand with Ukraine and its people.
We remember the children, women, and men whose lives have been tragically lost to Ukraine forever. We are grateful to the defenders of Ukraine who, with selfless courage, build the future.
On this Independence Day, be inspired! Be Ukrainian!

Свято українського духу
24 серпня світ вшановуватиме нескорений дух українського народу.
Цього дня у 2024 році виповнюється 33 роки з дня проголошення незалежності України. Оскільки Україна продовжує боротьбу за свою свободу, українці та друзі в усьому світі об’єднаються у потужному прояві культурної єдності та солідарності.
Ми розповімо історію українського народу з надією, прагненнями та рішучою відданістю майбутньому, в якому фундаментальні права та свободи, а також притаманна гідність кожного українця повсюдно поважаються та захищаються. Ми будемо ділитися культурою, краса якої полягає в її різноманітності та силі об’єднувати.
Ми дякуємо канадцям, які продовжують підтримувати Україну та її народ.
Ми вшановуємо пам’ять про дітей, жінок і чоловіків, життя яких трагічно обірвалося внаслідок війни проти України. З вдячністю клонимо голови перед захисниками України, які з самовідданою мужністю будують майбутнє.
У цей День Незалежності будьмо душевно сильними і гордімся своєю українською ідентичністю!
