Scott W. Armstrong

Scott Armstrong is an Assistant Superintendent of Bankruptcy with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, based in Winnipeg and responsible for insolvency matters in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and North-West Ontario.  He graduated from the University of Manitoba Law School in 1990 and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1991.

He is currently President of the O. Koshetz Choir, Secretary/Treasurer of the Shevchenko Foundation, and Finance Chair at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Ivan Suchavsky. Scott has also been involved with the Manitoba Choral Association, Foundation for Choral Music in Manitoba, City of Winnipeg Museum’s Board, St. Andrew’s College, Oseredok Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre, Ukraine-Kyiv Pavilion (Folklorama), Ukrainian Canadian Congress (Manitoba Provincial Council), Ukrainian Canadian Congress Foundation and Winnipeg Music Festival Competition in various executive positions, and continues to act as a resource for most of them.

Scott has been a member of the Shevchenko Foundation board of directors since 2015.
