Roma Dubczak is a first-generation Ukrainian Canadian and was raised as an active participant in Toronto’s Ukrainian community, including many years in Plast.

She has over 20 years of Board governance experience and has served as a Governor with numerous not-for-profit organizations including: The Toronto Biennial of Art, Royal St. George’s College, Kingsway College School, the Ukrainian Cooperative Nursery School and The Boulevard Club. She has also been deeply involved with the Canadian Red Cross for many years, establishing and chairing the CRC Marketing Advisory Committee, is an active member of the Tiffany Circle philanthropy group, and is a Director of the CRC Board of Governors.

Roma spent most of her professional life at Procter and Gamble Inc., holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and has completed the NFP Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management.

Roma joined the Shevchenko Foundation board of directors in 2021.
