Adrian Boyko

Director
Saskatoon, SK

Adrian Boyko recently retired from the financial services industry after 46 years. He is a long-standing community activist and volunteer in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, as well as nationally, and has contributed to multiple organizations from Kinsmen to Rotary and UCPBA.

During his tenure as Chair of the Government Relations Committee of the National Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) a definitive paper was commissioned on the impact of the World War I internment on the community with the formulation of the community position on redress. As President of UCC Saskatchewan Provincial Council, Adrian contributed to establishing a permanent representation in Chernivtsi, Ukraine and, in partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan by order in council, the Saskatchewan Ukraine Advisory Committee.

He is the proud recipient of the Canada 125 Medal, Queen’s Jubilee Medal, and the Shevchenko Medal awarded by the UCC as the Ukrainian community’s highest award for service.

Adrian has been a member of the Shevchenko Foundation board of directors since 2012.
