On November 11 we pause to remember the sacrifices made throughout history to safeguard the freedoms we hold dear.
As conflicts continue to rage around the world, we are reminded daily of the challenges faced in safeguarding our peace. We honour the memory of all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
We pay tribute to all Ukrainians who served in the Canadian and other armed forces, securing a brighter future for generations to follow.
We vow to never forget their courage and selflessness. Vichnaia pamiat.
We say a special prayer for the members of the Ukrainian armed forces as they continue to fight the ruthless aggressor on their native soil. In defending the right of Ukrainians to shape their own future, they remain on the front lines of the struggle for global peace and security.
