The Shevchenko Foundation (TSF) is pleased to announce that it will once again offer grants in support of summer recreational and arts opportunities for newcomers to Canada.

Sadly, the war against Ukraine rages on and many Ukrainians are forced to remain away from their homes and families. We appreciate the efforts of Canadians who continue to work tirelessly to support those fleeing the war, helping them adapt to a new home, friends, and a way of being.

The summer season presents unique challenges as children and youth require opportunities to remain engaged with their cultural heritage, and benefit from educational opportunities.

In response to the needs expressed by the community, TSF is now accepting applications from Ukrainian Canadian charitable and non-for-profit organizations for special grant funding to help offset costs associated with including displaced youth in summer recreational and arts programs and camps.

The funding for this program has been made possible with proceeds from the Tryzub Awards Gala and the generosity of the Temerty Foundation.
