Christine Zwozdesky

Director
Edmonton, AB

Christine enjoyed a lengthy professional career in commercial real estate, managing and leasing office, retail, industrial and multi-family portfolios for several major real estate developers.  She served the industry in a volunteer capacity with the Building Owners and Managers Association, the Commercial Real Estate Women Network and the Real Estate Council of Alberta.

Ms. Zwozdesky has also held Director positions with Compassion House, Capital Region Housing Corporation, Ukrainian Self-Reliance League of Canada – National Executive, the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada and St. John’s Cathedral.  Christine currently serves as Treasurer on the Presidium of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, as a Governor for the Alberta Real Estate Foundation, and as an Advisor to the Gene Zwozdesky Artist in Residence Program at MacEwan University.

Growing up in Edmonton allowed Ms. Zwozdesky to indulge her artistic side as well.  She worked as an event planner for a decade, performed in various community drama and choral productions, danced with the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers and sang with the Canadian Ukrainian Youth Association choir.  Christine continues to sing with her church choir and with the John Cameron Changing Lives choir.  She is also experimenting with fashion recycling and millinery design.

Christine Zwozdesky joined the TSF Board in 2023.
