Roman Soltykevych

Passionate about continuous learning, peer networking, mentoring, personal development, and community involvement, Roman was elected President of the TELUS Engineering Community in 2022. Reporting to the CTO of TELUS, he oversaw the TELUS Engineering Community’s internal development opportunities and external partnerships for two years for over 1,400 engineers and technologists.

Outside of the office, Roman has enjoyed participating in Alberta’s fine arts community as the piano accompanist for the Yavir Ukrainian Male Chorus of Edmonton and as a dancer with the Volya Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. He is passionate about advancing the interests of the Ukrainian community in Canada and abroad through his volunteer work with the UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival, Plast Ukrainian Youth Association, the Ukrainian Canadian Students’ Union, and as an election observer in Ukraine. Roman is a recipient of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Alberta Provincial Council’s Hetman Award.
