On August 24 Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine throughout the world will celebrate – through tears of both sadness and joy – the resilience of a nation.
On this 34th anniversary of Ukrainian independence, we continue to stand with Ukraine in solidarity.
We remember the children, women, and men whose lives have been tragically lost to Ukraine forever.
We recognize with gratitude the selfless courage of the defenders of Ukraine who shape the future.
We celebrate a cultural identity that possesses unimaginable power and resilience, enabling it to overcome.
We thank Canada for its support, and we invite Canadians to join celebrations in their local communities to experience Ukrainian culture and discover the resilience that propels it forward.
May the story of the Ukrainian people with its hopes, aspirations, and fierce commitment to freedom always inspire us!

Ми святкуємо культурну ідентичність, яка має неймовірну силу та стійкість перемогти.
Висловлюємо подяку Канаді за підтримку та запрошуємо канадців приєднатися до святкувань у своїх місцевих громадах, щоб відчути українську культуру та відкрити для себе стійкість, яка просуває її вперед.
